They joined host Reginald, co-host Tanya, and tech Ben on the Monday Brown Bagger, Radio in Vancouver, BC, Canada, where we honored the enduring legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This great man made profound contributions in his impactful lifetime. We are all part of this mission for social justice.

Sid Shniad, a key figure in establishing Independent Jewish Voices, has shaped the organization’s mission and values.
Eva Bartlett, a Canadian human rights activist associated with the pro-Palestinian International Solidarity Movement, is dedicated to observing and reporting on the situation in Gaza. In the week leading up to the interview, my wife, who produces this program, had a conversation with Ms. Bartlett during which she could hear the sound of bombings. This experience made my wife feel a strong sense of presence as if she were there.

On December 29, 2008, the guest Adam Kokesh, a retired US Marine Corps veteran, joined host Reginald and Tayna for a discussion. During the conversation, Adam delved into how Obama’s past actions and voting record in Washington, DC, might reflect differences from his public image.
During the show, we also discussed HR 1955, passed by Congress and now in the US Senate. This bill is a crucial step toward social justice and equality and an important topic of our conversation.

During a radio interview on March 23, 2008, Parvin Ashofri, an Iranian activist residing in Vancouver, Canada, and Jiyar Gol, an independent Kurdish filmmaker based in Britain, engaged in a discussion.
Ashofri, who hails from Iran and currently lives in Vancouver, BC, articulated the prevailing conditions in Iran, stressing the imperative for societal-driven changes. She expounded on the potential for political transformation through revolution and establishing a new political framework in Iran.
Gol, a filmmaker native to Kurdistan, underscored Iranian history and the role of the Kurdish people. He advocated for internal reforms and the empowerment of the populace as catalysts for change.
Theoren Fleury, Former NHL Player
On June 14, 2010, Theoren Fleury appeared as a guest on the Monday Brown Bagger radio show, which aired on COOP Radio in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
During the interview, Theoren Fleury, who had played 15 years in the NHL, discussed various topics:
He expressed his view that Residential Schools were a travesty, where children as young as 5 and 6 years old were taken away from their homes.
Theoren also shared his experience of reconnecting to his Aboriginal roots as a means of healing.
The conversation also touched upon the pardon of Graham James by the Canadian legal system, with no child registry in place to protect Mexican children from Graham James, who is a convicted child molester, among other points.
Hilmar Von Campe
On July 27, 2019, Reginald hosted a guest, Hilmar Von Campe, on CO-OP Radio in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Hilmar Von Campe, a former member of the Hitler Youth who served in the German Army on the Eastern Front from 1943 until the end of WWII, shared his awakening to the deception of his upbringing. He dedicated the rest of his life to seeking redemption for the crimes committed by the German people during the Holocaust and WWII against various ethnic groups across Europe and beyond.
Regrettably, Hilmar Von Campe passed away on June 18, 2012.

Nancy Xia, author of “Leap – Into the Mind of a Suicide,” chatting with Reginald at the 3rd Annual Scholarship Reception night for the Tamara Gordon Foundation.
During the conversation, Nancy shared her remarkable journey. At 18, she battled depression and survived a suicide attempt that left her paralyzed. Undeterred, Nancy’s determination shone through as she graduated from the University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Psychology, a feat that took her seven years to complete.
