R.A. MacLeod-Argue

As a veteran, he has worn many hats, including those of a poet, storyteller, and former talk show host. His did about nine years of service in the military not only shaped his character but also provided him with unique experiences that have profoundly influenced his creative work. Through his storytelling and poetry, he draws inspiration from his time in service, sharing powerful narratives that resonate with his audience and offer valuable insights.

R.A. MacLeod-Argue has encountered ongoing challenges related to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety. He also has multiple injuries affecting the knees, neck, shoulders, back, hips, and lungs. Despite these adversities, He has demonstrated resilience by confronting each day with determination.

From late 2006 until November 23, 2010, Reginald hosted and co-hosted several talk radio shows on Co-operative Radio, a Vancouver FM station, initially broadcasting on 102.7 FM and later on 100.5 FM.

During this time, he engaged with esteemed guests worldwide, including the late US Senator Mike Gravel, MI5 agent Annie Machon, Harvey Oberfeld, retired investigative reporter Theo Fleury, retired NHL player, and the late retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Robert Bowman.

Reginald left the radio station on November 23, 2010, due to health issues, marking the end of an era. He then embarked on a new journey in his life.

Between July 2011 and early 2018, Argue embarked on an enlightening journey, conducting captivating video interviews. Together, he and his wife created a dynamic partnership that brought these conversations to life.

Argue interviewed notable figures, including Michael Burns, CEO of Invictus Games Toronto; award-winning producer Brenden Hubbard; Enrico Colantoni, Independent Leadership Awards Winner; Brian Lilley at the 2017 Federal Conservative Party Leadership Convention; Steven Del Duca, MMP for Vaughan; and Stephen Lecce, former Adviser to the Prime Minister of Canada.

In April 2011, Argue generously donated a hockey stick to the Vancouver Canucks’ organization, a prized possession he had won back in 1971.

The stick was autographed by the original players from that era. Attached is a photo from the donation night featuring the first Team Captain, Orland Kurtenbach, alongside Reginald and the historic hockey stick at Rogers Arena’s Forever Canucks display.

That evening, Argue felt assured that the stick had found its rightful place, where countless generations of hockey enthusiasts would appreciate it for decades.
