Through his dedicated work, R.A. MacLeod-Argue aspires to cast a warm light on the often treacherous paths walked by others enduring similar struggles. He aims to inspire them to view their challenges not merely as obstacles but as rich opportunities for personal growth and transformation. He shares his experiences to empower individuals to embrace their journeys with resilience, believing that each hardship can lead to strength and wisdom.

In 1988, during his military service, Reginald was sent overseas on a UN Peacekeeping Tour of Duty in Iran. In the same year, the United Nations Organization was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize because Peacekeepers like Reginald and countless others stood tall in defending Peace in different conflict areas worldwide.

United States Airforce & Canadian Military

Regarding the U.N. Tour to Iran in 1988, members of the United States Airforce played an extremely important part in transporting Canadian Military personnel from parts of Canada to the U.S.A.F. Base in Incirlik, Turkey.  At which point this airforce base quoting in the base history from the below link, “In 1988, as an attempt to enforce a cease-fire between the warring countries of Iran and Iraq, Incirlik AB served as a staging ground to transport a United Nations peacekeeping force into both states referred to as Operation POST ROAD.  A U.S. Air Force C-5 Galaxy transported a 500 personnel force from Canada along with their vehicles and support equipment.”  From this base to Iran and Iraq, Canadian C-130s Hercs transported our equipment and military personnel to these two nations.  The U.N. Peacekeeping mission to Iraq and Iran was successful because of the Canadian Military personnel and others on the ground and the tremendous support the Incirlik Air Base provided.
